Myriah Brown-Hawk

Partner, Contractor, Design Manager

Myriah is the idealistic visionary behind our team. She consistently goes above and beyond with design concepts, obsessing over every tiny detail and understanding how each choice ultimately makes or breaks a space. With her enthusiastic problem solving, she makes the seemingly impossible happen while constantly pushing the envelope to learn and innovate. From initial sketches to accurate, build ready 3D renderings, Myriah ensures you can clearly envision the finished room while giving our build team the exact roadmap and material specifications needed to execute it flawlessly.

Gregory Hawk

Founder, Contractor, Build Manager

Greg is the technical powerhouse behind every project. He knows how to build structures and furniture engineered to last lifetimes, all while keeping timelines sharp and communication clear. As the hardworking backbone of our team, he turns every design vision large or small into physical reality. As build manager, Greg oversees the entire process from start to finish: coordinating subcontractors, managing permits and inspections, and ensuring every step of the build meets the highest standard of craft. His steady, hands-on leadership ensures that complex builds run smoothly and every detail on site is built right the first time.

Us

Myriah and Greg have been partners in life and craft since 2012, when they lived in Austin, Texas. United by a love of outdoor adventure, creative craft, and intentional living, they built the foundation of their trade in Texas, where Greg completed a five-year carpentry apprenticeship under a master journeyman.

Driven by a desire to be closer to family, establish roots, and build a business of their own, they returned to Western New York in 2014 and married the following year. After spending time living simply in a woodland tiny home while honing their trade skills, they found their forever property in Orangeville, New York—now home to both their family and their dedicated woodworking shop.

In 2018, on the very day their first child was born, they officially founded Brown-Hawk LLC. Today, with two children, countless adventures under their belts, and a thriving workshop, Myriah and Greg bring passion, craftsmanship, and personal dedication to every project they build.
